It’s been a great pleasure to spend a few days at Glencree House. Everything was perfect (room, breakfast, background music), but most of all thanks for the many suggestions and so many books and guides to borrow. Hasta la vista!

Really appreciated the sustainable tourism aspect

I was so impressed by the very high quality of everything! The room was so lovely and comfortable – you thought of everything and more! I just loved all the little touches – the chocolates and the biscuits, the apples and the mints! The food was outstanding. I also really appreciated the sustainable tourism aspect of the B&B – all the locally made and organic stuff – it was amazing! Thank you for such a warm welcome too, my stay couldn’t have been better!

This is a beautiful place, bright, clean and fresh. Andrew and Lynsey are pleasant, gracious hosts making you feel at home and giving guidance and advice for your journey.

Attention to detail makes this place a cut above the rest: some beautiful pieces of furniture, furnishings, beautiful soaps and little extras in the bathroom, and even a mattress topper on the cozy, comfy bed! You really feel at home here!

We have finally found the best B&B,
Its in Penzance and its called Glencree,
The attention to detail is awesome to see,
From the four poster bed to a great cup of tea,
To the salmon for breakfast served with coffee,
The wood burning stove and the view of the sea,
All these things lead to a feeling carefree,
For all your efforts we thank you Lynsey,
And Andrew and Tristan a lovely family,
We will tell our friends of our wonderful stay,
And hope that we see you again someday.
